Q. When is the season start and end date?
A. Each season typically runs 6-8 weeks. Information regarding the start and end dates can be found the application when registering your child or on the home page.
Q. When are practices?
A. Our program runs on volunteers to coach and train your child. Practice times are determined by the coach. Each team typically has 2 one hour or one and a half hour long practices each week anywhere from 5pm to 7pm cst.
Q. When will game schedules be post?
A. Typically 1 - 2 weeks after registration closes. Once registration is closed and teams are formed a game schedule will be posted to the NPYSC website. Games are almost always on Sundays.
Q. Are siblings placed on the same team?
A. We try our best to assign siblings to the same team if they fall under the guidelines of a specific division and are close enough in age.
Q. Can I volunteer to coach?
A. Yes, we are always looking for all three divisions. You can register to coach on the registration application when signing your child up. We require our coaches to submit a background check and take free training before practices start.
Q. Are Uniforms provided?
A. Each player will need to purchase a uniform when registering. Plays who have a uniform purchased from a previous season may reuse them. Navy blue shorts, shin guards worn under the socks and soccer cleats will be needed to play during games. NO football or baseball cleats are allowed!
Q. How much does registration cost?
A. Registration fee typically cost $100 dollars with an additional $60 if a uniform is needed.
Q. What happens if it rains?
A. Soccer is an all-weather sport. Games usually continue in the rain unless there is thunder, lighting, or dangerous field flooding.
Q. What is the refund policy?
A. We don't not typically offer refunds once registration closes because the funds are immediately spent on player insurance, fields and uniforms.
Q. How are teams divided?
A. Players are grouped by school grade or birth year to ensure fair, developmentally appropriate competition
